Bret Tate
Bret Tate is a native Montanan and has been photographing the world around him for nearly forty years. His specialty is portraiture and people photography, but he enjoys all photographing a wide variety of subjects. Bret approaches photography with two basic philosophies "The arts represent a constant quest for perfection." And, "The lens looks both ways." Please enjoy the gallery. All of the work you see on this website is for sale and Bret is also available for weddings, senior photos, and family photos. He can be contacted at brettate@hotmail.com     Bret's Photos

Peter Tucker
I love to photograph people in action, especially sports-related.  I also roam the Blackfoot and Clark Fork valleys with my trusty four-legged sidekick, photographing animals, sunrises, and moving water.  I plan to  spend quite a bit of time during the summer of 2012 visiting and photographing  in small Montana communities with populations less than 1000 people. Nancy Greenfield
I was raised in Montana and spent many a summer's weekend traversing the back roads. My favorite times were spent exploring old ghost towns, looking for minerals in old mine dumps, scouring meadows for arrowheads, wading creeks, and picking wild flowers. These experiences instilled in me a love of nature and of what once was.  I am drawn to artistic documentary images.
Enjoy!       Nancy's Photos

Norman Jacobson
Photography is a means of documenting the present moment in time and I find pleasure in being able to make such a contribution to friends, history and the conservation movement as well. I have always been interested in photogrphy, but only recently since my retirement from teaching have I been able to spend time taking photographs. I have the most fun photographing wildlife and get the most satisfaction from photographing them when I can catch the animal posed in an intense position, focusing and thinking about something.  My other interests lie in collecting antiques and documenting early Montana history. There is a great opportunity here for photographers because Montana is still relatively young and  unpopulated. I also find a great deal of pleasure in taking photographs of our grand children and other people whenever the opportunity presents itself.      Norman's Photos

Richard Poitras
I started in photography while I was in the Air Force. It gave me something new to do while stationed at Minot AFB, ND.  You might guess that I needed something to do!
My first camera was an Argus C3. With no auto film advance, I took a lot of double exposures. I've gone through a lot of film cameras and now several digital cameras. The two I use most, now, are the Nikon D70 and the Nikon D7000. Both cameras far exceed my talents. I have a variety of interests in photography. I shoot a lot of nature scenes, aerial mountain shots and I especially like macro photography.   I think every photo is not only a record of some fleeting place in time, it also captures the mood of the photographer.      Rich's Photos
